I am in-network with UMR for the Mt. Sinai Employees Healthcare Plan. For all other plans, I am an out-of-network provider, meaning you pay for the sessions when we meet and I provide paperwork for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Most plans reimburse between 60 to 100 percent of fees after you meet a deductible. If you have no out-of-network benefits at all we can discuss a fee adjustment.

Sessions are usually 50-55 minutes and it can be helpful to meet weekly especially in the beginning. I understand that that’s not always possible, and so together we will figure out what makes sense for you.

A consultation is a time to explore whether working together is the right fit. Think of it as a first session, but with no pressure! We will talk about what brings you in and what you hope to get out of therapy, and I will answer whatever questions you have.. We will also talk about what IS working in your life currently (not just what isn’t), and about past therapy experiences good or bad.
